In what I see as a continuing trend toward mediocrity and true McNews*, USA Today published this fluff piece yesterday. Really no new information but helpful in that a “national source” veifies that a) there is a shift in book publishhing and b) that no one is really sure what will happen.
*When Gannett first published USA Today in the 80’s if I remember correctly, I had a CPA client who called it this. I’m sure he stole it. I used to like the concise nature of USA today, not having the patience to wade thru WSJ, NYT, Washington Post, etc. Heck, their Auto News section sounds more like McMotorTrend than Comsumer Reports!
